Lawyer Needed for Family Law Bench and Bar Committee

The Family Law Bench and Bar Committee was established to identify and address issues within the Family Court system and to promote effective communication about court procedures, local practice directions, and other issues that affect lawyers and clients who rely upon that system.

There is one vacancy that needs to be filled. This vacancy is for a family law lawyer with 15+ years in practice.

The Committee meets, on average, four times a year. Meetings are held at 8:30 a.m. at the court house or virtually.  On occasion, additional meetings and work outside of the regular meetings are required by members of the Committee.

It is expected that the lawyers appointed to the Committee will serve a three year term.
