CCLA Board of Trustees Appointment

On behalf of the Board of Trustees CCLA President Sean May is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Hyslop as Trustee filling a vacancy on the Board and pursuant to our By-Laws.
Kim is a partner at the firm of HyslopDayLLP and practices exclusively in criminal law and was called to the Bar in 2011. She was an associate at Webber Schroeder Goldstein Abergel for 2 years before becoming a sole practitioner working in association with Shore Davis Johnston. In 2018 she formed Shore Johnston Hyslop Day LLP, and then April 1, 2022 formed Hyslop Day LLP with Matthew Day. She is one of the founding Directors, and current Treasurer of Barristers for a Better Bytown. She has been involved as moderator at CLA Fall Conferences, spoken at CCLA/DCAO Montebello Criminal Law Conferences and last year spoke at the OCJ East Region Judges Conference. She has also guest-lectured at classes at uOttawa Law School and acted as judge for some course moots. Kim is a well respected member of our legal community and the criminal defense bar.
