CCLA Solicitors Conference Planning Committee - Seeking New Members
September 15, 2017
The
CCLA Solicitors Conference Planning Committee is seeking a new member. The
committee is a standing committee of the CCLA, accountable to the CCLA’s Board
of Trustees, to which it reports through its co-chairs. The committee typically
meets every three weeks, from September until February, with ongoing activities
leading up to the conference, taking place on Friday, May 11 – Saturday, May
12, 2018. Committee members are responsible for setting the program of the
conference, arranging speakers and panelists, approving the conference
logistics, and recruiting attendees.
If you are interested in joining the committee, please send an email to
Jennifer Thompson at the CCLA (jthompson@ccla-abcc.ca) to let us know. Include in
your message what you would bring to the committee and be sure to mention your
year of call and to describe the nature of your practice. Please feel free to
include any other information you might feel appropriate. The CCLA values
and supports diversity on our committees, conferences and in the practice of
law.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 5:00 PM.
Please note: All applicants must be members in good standing of the CCLA.
Thank you! Kathleen Robichaud and Lynn Le Mesurier Co-Chairs, CCLA East Region Solicitors Conference Planning Committee
