LSUC Contingency Fee Consultation

The Law Society has issued a call for comment on proposals made by its Advertising and Fee Arrangements Issues Working Group on the issue of contingency fee arrangements. The CCLA wishes to establish a small committee that will be Chaired by Laurie Tucker to review this issue and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees. Submissions are due by September 29 so the timeline is tight. If you are interested in this issue and available to work on this over the next few weeks, please provide your expression of interest by August 25, 2017. If you are unavailable to provide time to work on this but wish to have your views expressed to the committee, please provide an email with your comments by no later than August 30, 2017.
