CCLA Survey on Advertising, Referral Fees and Contingency Fee Arrangements
August 16, 2016
The
Law Society of Upper Canada’s Professional Regulation Committee is looking into
what changes should be made with respect to issues relating to advertising,
referral fees and contingency fee arrangements. The CCLA Advertising Committee
is seeking member input on these issues in order to prepare a response to the
Law Society’s request for input. We would appreciate you taking the time to
complete the following survey, which will likely take approximately 20 minutes
to complete. You may wish to refer to the Report to Convocation and the Rules of Professional Conduct,as
well as the 2015 submissions of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations and
the CCLA Real Estate Lawyers Committee. Your
responses will be kept confidential (i.e. you will not be identified).
You are also welcome to provide direct feedback to the CCLA’s working team:
real estate lawyer Mark Habib (mark@markhabiblawyers.com), personal injury
lawyer Laurie Tucker (ltucker@burntucker.com)
and Rosalind Conway (rosalind.conway@gmail.com).
