Congratulations to Mr. Justice Calum MacLeod!

The
CCLA extends congratulations to Mr. Justice Calum MacLeod on his appointment to
the Superior Court of Justice!
Mr. Justice MacLeod has served as Case Management Master of the Ontario
Superior Court of Justice in Ottawa from 1998. Previously, he was an associate
with Zwicker, Evans and Lewis Barristers and Solicitors in Barrie from 1997 to
1998, mediator at MacLeod Dispute Resolution in Barrie from 1995 to 1998,
partner with Service, Nichols, MacLeod Barristers and Solitiors in Barrie from
1989 to 1995, a sole practitioner in Markham from 1986 to 1989, and partner
with MacLeod, McCaffrey and Associates, Barristers and Solicitors in
Toronto from 1983 to 1986.
Mr. Justice MacLeod received a Bachelor of Arts in 1977 and a Bachelor of Laws
in 1980, both from Queen's University. He was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in
1983.
Mr. Justice MacLeod's appointment is effective immediately.
The CCLA will provide information on the Swearing-In ceremony for Mr. Justice
MacLeod when it is available.
