Seeking Suggestions for Topics/Speakers for the 25th Annual Institute of Family Law 2016
July 24, 2015
The 25th Annual
Institute of Family Law Conference will be two full days: Friday, April 8 to
Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Fairmont Le Château Montebello in Montebello,
Quebec (approximately a 45 minute drive from Ottawa, Ontario).
We are seeking suggestions for topics to be presented at the Annual
Institute of Family Law in 2016. The target audience of the conference includes members of
the Ontario judiciary, family law practitioners in the Ottawa and Eastern
Ontario regions, and service providers involved in family dispute
resolution. The Family Law Institute strives to deliver the leading
annual conference for family law practitioners in Ontario. It is our goal for
the conference to include leading edge material within the family law arena,
including content that delivers up to date information in key areas such as
emerging legal issues, practice issues, professionalism, dispute resolution,
developments in services related to family law dispute resolution, leading case
law, and psychological or mental health areas related to family law issues. Please email your suggestions to events@ccla-abcc.ca
by Friday, August 28, 2015. Please indicate in your subject line
"Topic - 25th Annual Institute of Family Law." All submissions
will be discussed by the conference planning committee before selections are
made. It is anticipated that those selected would be advised as early as
possible, and no later than December 1, 2015.
