Each year, the annual Lawyer Play fundraiser raises much-needed funding for the Great Canadian Theatre Company, a registered charitable organization, as well as for a designated charity partner which changes from year to year. In past, the charity partners have included the Boys and Girls Club, Children’s Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Zambia School Project.

The designated charity partner will receive not less than $10,000.00, with the amount of the ultimate payment being calculated once the final net proceeds of the production are known. The more sponsorships we secure and the more tickets we are able to sell, the more money the charity partner is able to realize!

In September, the Lawyer Play Committee will be selecting the charity partner for the 16^th annual Lawyer Play. If you are involved with, or know of, a registered charity that would be a good choice for us to consider, the Committee would be delighted to hear from you.
