Attention all Ottawa lawyers, judges, articling students and staff, and Ottawa Courthouse staff! Please join us again this year in the fight against community hunger by supporting the Ottawa Food Bank. The Ottawa Food Bank provides emergency food to over 48,000 people in our community each month, 37% of those being children. Please take a moment to click here and read the fact sheet on this very important local charity. To help out, please bring in non-perishable food items or cash during the week of Monday, March 3 to Friday, March 7, 2014, and donate them from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the front entrance foyer of the Ottawa Courthouse. Temporary tax receipts will be given out for all cash donations. For every $1 you donate, the Food Bank turns that into $5 of food buying power. Last year we raised $9,106.18 and donated 770 LBS of food - let’s try to break last year’s total!  If you will not be passing through the Courthouse next week but would still like to contribute, we welcome donations sent over from law offices. These donations can be delivered to the CCLA Library (room 2004) at 161 Elgin Street - cheques can be made payable to Ottawa Food Bank. We will include all donations sent this way in our total for the week, so consider an office-wide contribution!  We'd like to thank in advance those people who will generously be donating their time at the Food Bank Drive tables next week: - Monday - Khalid Elgazzar & Friends
 - Tuesday - Susan Mitchell & Friends from Tierney Stauffer LLP
 - Wednesday - Rosalind Conway & Friends from the Criminal Defense Bar
 - Thursday - The Ottawa Family Law Study Group
 - Friday - Williams McEnery LLP

Thank you for all your support - we look forward to seeing you next week!
