Orange Shirt Day: September 28, 2018

Attention lawyers, articling students, support staff, paralegals and paralegal students: all are invited and welcome to join the CCLA Diversity Committee in wearing Orange to work on Friday, September 28th in recognition of Orange Shirt Day.

The CCLA Diversity Committee will be gathering at the Courthouse (161 Elgin St) in the Jury Assembly Room on September 28, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. to listen to Grandmother Roseann from the Native Women’s Association of Canada talk about Orange Shirt Day. All are welcome to attend.

Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for Indigenous families and their communities, local government, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation.

To show our support, we are asking everyone to wear orange to work on Friday, September 28 and come listen to Grandmother Roseann.
