SABS – SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY:  Jeanette Podolsky, Clinical Director from the Speech Therapy Centres of Canada (STCC) will discuss the role of the SLP and focus on how the STCC team have adapted to the changes to the SABS. She will answer questions you may have such as when to include an SLP, how SLPs can contribute to the CAT determination, red flags for communication issues and what a subtle communication issue may look like.

SABS - BRIDGING THE GAP: NON-CAT TO CAT:  With over 35 years of legal and judicial experience, the Honourable Justice Giovanna Roccamo and Lynn Parker, with 35 years of knowledge of insurance, life care planning, will provide an overview of the current CAT criteria in addition to a lively discussion on the barriers faced by your clients in accessing funding when non-CAT limits have been reached.
