If you will be attending the Ottawa courthouse from out-of-town, here is some information to help you during your visit.
The Ottawa Courthouse is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
The Ottawa Courthouse follows a strict security protocol. Unless you carry LSUC ID, you will be required to have a full security screening.
The CCLA is staffed Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The CCLA is located on the main floor (2) of the Ottawa Courthouse. Once through security, continue to your left. We are located in room 2004, opposite Courtroom 24. The door to the library is unlocked.
Lounge and Robing Rooms
A lounge and robing rooms are available. To access these spaces, please visit the CCLA Library front desk for the security codes. We ask that counsel do not bring their clients into these spaces.
Printing and Faxing Services
Printing, photocopying, and faxing services are available in the CCLA Library. Payment for out-of-town counsel can be made by cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. We cannot invoice out of town firms.

Legal Robes and Tabs
Should you wish to rent a locker in the robing rooms, daily and short-term rentals are available. Please speak to the staff at the CCLA Library for details.
There is no parking available at the Ottawa Courthouse. The nearest public parking lot is beneath Ottawa City Hall at 110 Laurier Avenue West. Please find more details on this lot here.
Coffee Shops & Restaurants
If you're looking for a quick cup of coffee, there is a Tim Horton's on the bottom floor (1) of the Courthouse. Immediately outside of the Courthouse there are several other coffee shops and restaurants within a short walking distance.
