Pre-trial Conferences: Best Practices
Preparing for an upcoming pre-trial conference? Join co-chairs Justice Robert Beaudoin and Sylvia Corthorn of Kelly Santini on June 14th for a two-hour program on Pre-trial Conferences: Best Practices.
This program is intended for counsel of all levels of experience and is not to be missed! Included in the program is an overview of pre-trial conferences with respect to both: a) substantive aspects of the matter; and b) the trial management function. Members of the bench and counsel will discuss preparation of effective pre-trial conference briefs, the use of technology at pre-trial conferences, and what is required from all participants in the conference - including counsel, judges, masters, and clients - for a meaningful pre-trial conference. Materials will include samples of effective pre-trial conference briefs.
