Membership Cards
All CCLA members receive a membership card that contains all the information necessary to log-in to our website and access members-only products and services. Once logged in, members can:
• update personal information
• renew memberships
• register for CLE and social events
• access the CCLA Conference Paper Database
Membership cards can also be presented to our member partners to obtain exclusive member discounts, and operate the photocopy machines in the CCLA Library.
Courthouse Lockers
The CCLA has a limited number of lockers available for rent in the Ottawa Courthouse. Located in the secured robing rooms beneath the Barristers Lounge, there are 44 lockers for women and 144 lockers for men. In each robing room, there are also a limited number of lockers available for short-term rentals. Rentals are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis; please enquire with the CCLA for current availability. All CCLA members receive a discounted rate for locker rentals.
Rental terms for the lockers are for one year. Billing for the lockers is sent out annually in March. 2012 rental costs for lockers are:
CCLA Members: $139.00 + HST / year
Non-CCLA Members: $279.00 + HST / year
Short-term rentals: $10.00 + HST / day.

Wireless Access
The CCLA is pleased to offer wireless Internet service at the Ottawa Courthouse. This service is free for CCLA members, who may request the network password from the CCLA Library.
For non-members, the rates for Internet service are as follows:
1 day (24 hours): $8.00 + HST
1 week (7 days): $15.00 + HST
1 month (30 days): $35.00 + HST
To purchase time, please visit the CCLA library. Cash and most major credit cards are accepted.
CCLA Newsletter and Community Marketplace
The CCLA Newsletter provides members with email updates concerning the association, upcoming events, and news and notices from the East Region legal community. A notice sent out in the CCLA Newsletter reaches over 2000 individuals, and all CCLA members receive a member rate when sending out their advertisement or notice.
All information sent out in the CCLA Newsletter is also posted to the CCLA website’s Community Marketplace page. Keep up to date with the legal community by adding the Community Marketplace to your favourite feed reader!

Ottawa & Eastern Region Lawyers' Directory
The directory contains detailed contact information for lawyers, courts, personnel, and related organizations in the Ottawa and East Region legal community. The CCLA publishes the directory in both print and electronic formats at the beginning of each calendar year.
Directories can be purchased over the counter at the library circulation desk. Please fill out and send the order form to Sharron Timmins if you would like directories delivered. Postage and handling will apply for deliveries, and details are included on the order form. Regular rates for the directory are as follows:
CCLA Members: $55.00 + HST
Non-Members: $70.00 + HST
