The Gowling WLG Ottawa office is currently seeking a lawyer to work within its Intellectual Property Department. The Intellectual Property Department provides a variety of legal services with respect to the usage, protection and enforcement of intellectual property. As the successful candidate, you will be providing legal advice, guidance and representation in relation to contentious and non-contentious matters in the areas of copyright and trademark law. Your responsibilities will include both prosecution and litigation aspects of trademark protection.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Background in trademarks, copyright and litigation an asset
