Job Opportunities

Posted By Administration, October 26, 2017

Chiarelli Cramer Witteveen is a small (5 lawyer) suburban law firm in Nepean. We provide legal services to a broad range of clients, and pride ourselves as being part of the neighbourhood that we have served for over 25 years. The firm provides a relaxed, friendly culture. We don’t normally wear suits (except when attending court), we enjoy “casual Fridays”, and work stops at 4pm on Fridays so we can relax over a beverage and a snack.

Due to planned retirements, we are seeking applications for the following positions. The working knowledge of the firm is English. Ability to work in French and/or other languages would be an asset.

Salary for each position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interested candidates can email their resume to Ken Dunham at Please indicate the position for which you are applying. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Office Manager

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, mature, and business-minded individual to take charge of our internal administration. The office manager serves as our primary receptionist, and is responsible for bookkeeping, client billing, and similar tasks.

The candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be a self-starter with an excellent work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have a working knowledge of PC/Law and/or Clio.

Litigation Assistant

The Legal Assistant will support two litigation lawyers, whose practice collectively includes civil litigation, family law, and criminal law.

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and mature self-starter. In addition to an excellent work ethic and organizational skills, the candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Smalls Claims and Superior Court forms and rules of procedure. A knowledge of family law and/or criminal law would be assets, as would knowledge / experience in real estate transactions.
